Though I have been out of school for quite a few years now, I continue to drool over back-to-school supplies. I yearn for a reason to need them. My husband has learned that if he joins me on a Wal-mart or Target trip during the month of August, we will spend time perusing the aisles. Slooowly.
Have you seen Target's selection of pencil cases?! I want one
or twelve. Nevermind the fact that I rarely write with a pencil, and even less frequently need to transport a group of them to some other location; and don't remind me of all the little pencil case type of bags that I already own.
Also, notebooks and 3-ring binders. I am certain I can find a reason to take notes with a few of them.
I even saw that they now have pink graphing calculators! I am sure that my hours spent in calculus would have been much more productive and pleasurable had I been using a pink TI-84.
So, to quell my need to purchase items that are absolutely unnecessary, I have found a few things that I could put to use without enrolling in a single class.
