A New Blog

I want to let you know about a new blog that my younger sister, Heidi, has started:

"Tea Time is New for Me" is the chronicling of the adventures (and I can imagine a few misadventures!) of her new life in England (my brother-in-law has been stationed there with the air force for the next 4 years). Adding to the excitement that this journey brings, came the news that a little baby is on the way - all of these changes are sure to lead to some great stories of their new life!

I have been visiting your sisters blog - I didn't realise the connection! She has a great sense of humour. How exciting you have a new little niece/nephew on the way.

Yeah I went in to buy a wind chime, and found they had moved them to make room for Christmas ribbon in my store. That was in MAY. I mean, sure if you make all your gifts you might need to start soon, especially if you have kids that take over your life, but do you need to wrap them too?

Wow! I haven't been there in a while, but that is insanity!

It seems to get earlier and earlier every year.

They had so much inventory left over from last year so they decided to bring it out earlier this year.

I saw the fall stuff at Hobby Lobby and it didn't even suprise me. I can't look at it though. It's just wrong.

I saw the fall and christmas goods at the end of May, right where I was looking for stuff for a summer picnic.

Had to walk away. We need to enjoy summer first, right?

We just got a new and bigger Hobby Lobby. They started putting out the Christmas stuff the last week in May before they put out the fall stuff. I actually bought a Thanksgiving sign today for 50% off. Hope I remember where I store it!

Oh Kristin you don't know how lucky you are to have Hobby Lobby! There is nothing like that over here. I am stocking up when we come home for the wedding.

Hi! I've been following your blog for quite a while but have never left a comment. I just made a skirt from your pattern and it turned out great! I blogged about it here lillianlucasyoung.blogspot.com

Keep up the great ideas! I really love your site!

I'll check out your sister's blog.

Pretty soon the stores will just be leaving the holiday merchandise up all year, lol.
