Fabric Napkin Valance

Yesterday, I channeled my inner "Nester" by updating the valance over our front window. My previous treatment was a white table runner that I clipped on, but I wanted a different look for the fall.

Continuing my table dressings as window treatment trend, I dug out 3 chocolate brown cloth napkins from my linen closet. After ironing them, I folded them in half, and hot-glued white grosgrain ribbon along the bottom edge.

(Click on picture for a larger view of how I layered the napkins.)

I love how this simple arrangement updated the whole area, but I love more that it was FREE!

That's so great! And seems simple enough! Btw, love the wall color, it's very similar to mine!

Looks fantastic! I've also done a window treatment with a couple napkins for my corner kitchen window. I love the thought of doing it either way cheap, or free.
