My daughter is at an age (5) where she is not only able, but willing to help out around the house. She actually begs me to use the Swiffer, and is elated when I have her help me fold laundry. I know that I need to use this to my advantage because it won't last long.
To keep things organized, I embellished this clipboard (fabric, Mod Podge, ribbon; you know the drill) to hold her weekly chore chart. Now, I suppose that things would be just as organized with a plain brown clipboard... But, would it spread joy all around like this one does? I think not.
Here is one that my mom put together; I love the birds.
And my brother's girlfriend made this one. I'm so happy that she's a crafty girl.
This is such a simple and inexpensive project that has so many uses. I think I need to make one for myself!
And finally, I have to let you know that I am remote blogging today; I am not coming to you from my usual spot on the couch, but instead from Panera...
You see, my children have been dropped off at a Mother's Day Out program, and I get to experience the decadence that is a blueberry scone, iced tea, and a quiet corner.
"What shall I spend the rest of my day doing?" I think to myself.
I need to do this more often... You should try it too.
