Factory Closed

Does this give you a clue as to how I used my fabric yesterday?

A better part of my day was spent cutting, and ironing, and sewing.
My back was killing me after being hunched over the machine for so long,
but seeing 8 completed purses makes it worth the effort!

I followed the buttercup bag pattern again, but this time made it a little smaller.
It is the perfect size for my nieces.
I made one for each of my own girls as well,
but they don't know that yet (have to wait for Christmas)!
I almost caved and gave them each a purse now, but I resisted.
It will be too fun to fill them with purse necessities
(in our house that would be Lip Smackers and Tic Tacs!)!

So cute! I have been too afraid to try to make a bag...I need to just break down and do it. :) LOVE the green zebra stripes - do you know the designer/line??

Cute...they will love them Is that Paula Prass fabric? Love it. And I love the buttercup pattern. It really is so easy to make. I have made about 5 of them my self. I am still waiting for your wallet tutorial. Did I miss it?

You are killin' me! Those are adorable. Where in the world did you find 8 hours to hammer all of those out? Did you sleep last night? Is there child labor involved? (j/k) Way to go on getting them done in early Oct. You are my new hero. Love the fabrics too. Now I'm off to gather goodies for my Christmas projects.

Those are adorable! I love that they will all get the same thing but a little bit different. I always add little notebooks and a mini-pen to my daughters purse.

They are so sweet!!! I'm thinking of trying that pattern as well. Now I'll have to make them for my girls too!
