Fabulous Finds Show - This Saturday!

Grace Violet has been experiencing a creative drought this summer. Posting has been infrequent because crafty projects have been infrequent

Weeks have passed without a single sewing project (unless you count mending a hole in my favorite cardigan...), and I am sure my Mod Podge must be dried up by now.

Much of this slump can be attributed to our move (we sold our home in a record 8! days! and are in a miniature apartment TEMPORARILY {at least I keep telling myself that} while our new home is built).

While the changes are a huge blessing, they haven't brought out my creative side. However, I hope to turn that around, starting this weekend, by attending the Fabulous Finds Show! This event is hosted by two lovely - and incredibly creative - ladies, Jenny and Sada, and features many local vendors and their creative wares

I'm sure that I will discover more than a few necessary items, but also the zeal to create something of my own.

If you are in the area (OKC metro), I encourage you to stop by and take a look at the amazing offerings from local vendors. Hopefully I will see you there!

Know anything about Gesso? Is it something you can use to glaze over art to "antique" art???

I had to consult with the craft guru!!!!
