Silk Flower Pins

Last week I came across yet another flower pin tutorial (from Abby, of The Feathered Nest), this time using silk flowers. Of course, being addicted to all things that involve flowers and pins (its a disease I don't want to be cured of), I was compelled to act on this tutorial and ran to the dollar store to stock up on faux floral supplies

I made one flower pin.

Then another. And another.

And...

Just a few more; 17 to be exact.

Using scrapbooking brads as the flower center made the assembly incredibly quick - I spent more time plucking and ripping the bouquets apart than I did constructing the pins!

However, a girl can only have so many floral accessories (or so I'm told); so I've decided to share! I plan on sharing some with sisters and friends, and of course, some With YOU!

If you would like to call 3 three of these flowers your own, leave me a comment; I will ship off a random grouping from my selection to one lucky commenter! The drawing will take place Tuesday evening (April 28th) - GOOD LUCK!

p.s. Be sure to check out the tutorial for yourself - they are so fun and easy to put together, and would make a perfect Mother's Day adornment!

They turned out really pretty. And if one is good, seventeen must be better! My daughter loves to add things like this to her outfits. If I was a good mom, I'd consider doing this project with her... But it'd be so much easier to win a couple!
Thanks for the giveaway!
