There is a new family in the neighborhood!
Meet Mr. and Mrs. Podge and their daughters Peg and Paige.
The little family's preppy pink and green abode is finally completed. Floors have been laid and wallpaper has been hung (i.e. EVERYTHING is covered in Mod Podge and scrapbooking paper).
The Podges, themselves, have gone through quite a transformation.
These little peg dolls remind me of the Fisher Price Little People that I played with as a child.
As you can see, the girls are scoping out their new space. They love the bright color palette, while mom and dad appreciate the vaulted ceilings and oversized doorways.
Heather Bailey's fabric line has been utilized yet again - this time as their wardrobe (and, of course, it was decoupaged on as well). Their faces were painted and then sealed with a coat of clear spray paint.
As you can see, the girls are scoping out their new space. They love the bright color palette, while mom and dad appreciate the vaulted ceilings and oversized doorways.
The novelty of sleeping on the floor and eating takeout has been quite an adventure for Peg and Paige, however, Mr. and Mrs. Podge are quite anxious for the delivery of appliances and furniture, which will really help this house to feel like a home.
I'll be sure to let you know when everything "arrives"!

Adorable!!! You amaze me! If I'd have known I was living next to a craft-queen during all that time, I'd of been insisting on you teaching me everything that you know :)

Too cute! I want one too.
My daughter is a little too small for "peg" people, but you have inspired me to someday make her a dollhouse!
So simple, and yet, so cute and so clever!
They are adorable , you out did yourself this time.
That is incredible. What a great idea for when my daughter is a little older. Right now, she would eat the little people...
BYW - I am having a Christmas Carnival (http://modernmommyhood.blogspot.com/2008/09/12-weeks-of-christmas-carnival-details.html) and I would love to hear some Christmas crafty ideas from you. You do such a great job!
You are the Modge Podge Queen!! That is simply adorable. What a treasure.
these are so cute! I have all boys, but man! if I had girls I would be SO making these.
Absolutely darling! I'm sure your girls will LOVE & enjoy playing with this sweet little family for years to come! Will you be making the furniture yourself, too??
Count me in for one when you offer the kit. My daughter is only 5 months right now, but I'm so excited for the dolls and dollhouse phase. We're also adopting an older child from Ethiopia, so paint it your self is a great idea. Our dolls will have a little darker skin tone.
This is so adorable!!!
How adorable! I have some unfinished peg people that I planned to paint - I like your fabric idea.
These little peg people are so adorable!
I'm inspired-thanks!
