Ready to re-join the land of the living

In case you have been wondering where I have been the last few days....

My bed has been my sole place of existence since Monday when I was struck with a horrific plague involving, among other things, a sore throat (felt like I was swallowing nails), achy-ness (as if I had just run 3 marathons), and fever (hotter than the Sahara).

What was that?

Who called me dramatic?

Don't worry, I was able to survive thanks to a husband who provided me with an ever-flowing supply of iced tea from McAlister's - it has healing powers (if you didn't know I loved this tea, then you haven't read my very first post)

I can feel it lifting though, and today I was even more encouraged to find out that I had been awarded the Arte y Pico award by Songbirdtiff. What a great surprise! Especially at a time when I felt very uninspiring!

Now, I get to pass on the award to fellow bloggers that inspire me. So, without further adieu... I present the awards to:

Here are the rules for the winners and if you already have the award just accept and that's all you have to do.
1. Pick 5 blogs that you consider deserving of this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contribute to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2. Each award has to have the name of the author and a link to his/her blog to be visited by everyone.
3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that presented her/him with the award.
4.The award winner and one who has given the prize have to show the link of "
Arte y Pico" blog so everyone will know the origin of this award.
5. To show these rules.

And finally, in case you haven't seen some of my older tutorials, you might be interested in checking out my latest article for Blissfully Domestic on these embellished library totes I made a while ago:

Thanks for hanging around the last few days while I've been a no-good, lazy crafter. I vow to do better next week... Although, I do have one child with chicken pox and another complaining of a sore throat, so just consider that promise null and void.

We've had the same yuckiness in our house too. I'm fairly new to your blog and love your ideas and style. Like the demin totes. . .gotta make some of those for the kids' play room.

Glad your feeling better, it sounded awful. Sick kids are no fun either. Love the bag, what a cute idea. I'm still in awe over your cute little office.
