We stopped off at IKEA (surprise, surprise) on our long-weekend trip specifically to purchase this little drawer unit. I was desperately in need of craft organization and since my space is so small, I knew the unit that I chose would need to be tiny. It is amazing how this little metal drawer system has completely transformed my crafty space!
My desk was no longer acting as a workspace, but was more of a catch-all, with piles of supplies and tools scattered about. Now I have been able to clear it all away, yet still keep my necessary items close at hand. Perfect! Plus the casters make it great when I want to work at the dining room table on larger projects - I can just wheel all of my supplies right where I need them!
Did you notice the cute little lime green labels for each drawer?
I was so happy to find something for the drawer fronts that coordinated with my space.

LOVE. THAT. CABINET. Might have to make a stop at IKEA this weekend after I finish moving my daughter, again. I also love those labels. They make it even cuter.
That is just perfect for organizing all of your craft stuff. I went to IKEA for the first time last week and I can't wait to go back sometime soon! That place rocks!

Ikea has some great organizing stuff. My girls closets are filled with the trosfast system. It makes storing stuff so easy.
You could use the sides of your metal drawers to put magnets and hold current project ideas, etc.

I have to say that I love your craft area. I am in the process of creating a craft area with about the same amount of space so yours is a great inspiration! Now I just need to find a cute table like yours and figure out how to make that cute shelf!
