Cash Wallet

After completing the "Scrappy Wallets," I was motivated to try something a little more complex. My husband and I follow Dave Ramsey's cash budget; this is great for our pocketbook, but not great for MY pocketbook. 

You see, we usually divide our cash into allotted areas (food, clothing, gifts, etc), which is awesome for sticking to our plan, but difficult to maintain in a regular wallet. Most wallets only have 1 compartment for cash, but I need several. 

For a while I used this wallet, and it worked well, but I wanted something that would combine all of the various cards that I carry. Working on the scrappy wallets helped me to see that I could make the wallet I've been searching for.

There are 8 sections for cards, and I'm not sure if you can tell, 

but on the opposite side of the cards, are 3 sections for holding cash!

I am so happy to have a cute wallet - my only

problem now is that I didn't add a zippered section

for change. I can't decide if I should go back and 

re-design it or just make a separate coin purse.

Decisions, decisions! Either way, I will be sure to post whatever I come up with. And if there is enough interest, I will post a pattern for the wallet - I would have already, but I pretty much winged this one (no measuring or plans whatsoever - I'm too impatient for that!). Perhaps if I had not been so impetuous with the wallet design, I would have thought to add the zippered section in the first place!!!
