Each of my girls have two teachers at the pre-school that they attend, so I have been on the lookout for gifts that would be suitable for all four of them. After coming across some black and white note cards in several prints, I mixed and matched so that the teachers will each receive a dozen cards in a variety of designs.
To give the gift distinction, I made flower pins (click here for tutorial) from coordinating fabric. These work great as gift wrapping embellishments, especially since they double as an extra little gift. Later they can adorn a cardigan or handbag or scarf - the possibilities are endless.

What a wonderful idea! Teacher gifts have given me fits for years.
Now, please tell how you made the flower pins.
Great idea. I love the pins, maybe you could do a tutorial, hint hint!

Such a cute idea! You must do a tutorial on the flower pins, they are adorable!
Love your blog and love the idea of attaching the flower pins as the bow! Too cute (and just an FYI to those that missed it, go back to the post and click on "Flower Pins" to see her tute...it's a previous post! Hope that helps someone else!) Thanks again for another awesome idea!
I gave note cards too. I'm not nearly as crafty as some, so I had to order mine off of etsy. I ordered some note cards in the school colors with the school mascot on them (teal/white and starfish).
Great teacher gift!
This is a really cute idea! LOVE the pin!!
I love these. Where did you get those cards??? So cute how you made them so pretty. Merry Christmas.
