Maybe "patchwork" would describe it?<BR/><BR/>Sorry, Mom's a professional quilter and as much as I resisted, I learned a lot!<BR/><BR/>I remember her backing her applique projects with old school papers to stiffen the structure (I think that was the purpose). I liked to help her peel off the paper shapes when she was done. I also was paid a nickel per item to run a string on a safety pin through the casing!
